Pints for Paws Race at New Boundary Brewing

New Boundary’s Pints for Paws, a 5K race to benefit Spokanimal C.A.R.E., returns for a second running May 21 starting at the Cheney brewery and continuing along the Columbia Plateau Trail. Entry fee is $35, which includes a custom stainless 24-ounce water bottle, snacks and a hot dog lunch afterward; walkers and well-behaved, vaccinated dogs are welcome.

The event will include special beer releases throughout the day, Chef Lindsey’s taco bar (vegan option available), and live bands on the patio. The musical lineup includes Nick Grow, Don and Thomas Thomsen, Fun Ladies, Fat Lady, and Buffalo Jones. Iron Goat’s first-ever canned beer, Brick and Steel IPA, will be available for purchase exclusively at the brewery. A portion of the day’s proceeds go to Second Harvest.

Barrel Aged Stout Release at Whistle Punk Brewing

Come celebrate the release of Karelin, our first bourbon barrel aged stout. This is a 13.5% Russian Imperial Stout named after the one of the greatest olympians of all time, Russian wrestler, Alexander Karelin. This beer was 100% aged in small batch bourbon barrels for over 16 months and weighs in at 13.5% ABV. Huge notes of toasted coconut, vanilla, and coffee. Keg taps at 6pm.

Friday Firk-Off with Fremont Brewing at Perry Street Brewing

Join PSB and our friends Fremont Brewing for a Firk-off! We will be releasing four experimental firkins (2 from each brewery) in a winner-take-all-quaff-off for ultimate firkin supremacy!

Firkins will be tapped at 6pm and available as flights or pints. The last person to blow each firkin wins a schwaggy prize from PSB/Fremont.  Also, expect a MYSTERY small batch release from Fremont on regular draft. Taproom opens at 11:30am, the Fremont fun kicks off at 6pm. Cheers!
